This is the method that I use to cut quills for calligraphy. It is by no means the one true way, the path, or the light, but it gets me by. As always, I'm always looking for better ways to do things, to improve my own skills, and to help others get better at what they do. I change my own methods on a monthly basis and if I make another one of these videos in a few weeks, I'll probably have made some changes in how I do this. I'm mostly taught from watching other videos here on youtube, reading websites, and cutting a lot of really bad quills.
