Mid-sized Spaniard brings edgy new look and impressive powertrain arsenal to bear 👉 Full Review: [ Ссылка ]
The all-new Cupra Terramar mid-size SUV might just be the very last all-new petrol-powered vehicle the Spanish performance brand builds, so you might hope (and expect) it to be, well, a bit special!
The good news is that it performs rather well across most measurable metrics.
It's fast and fun but also doubles as a viable family vehicle, with a big boot and plenty of cabin space for five people.
Built to rival the Toyota RAV4 and other mid-size SUVs like VW Tiguan and Hyundai Tucson, Cupra hopes the Terramar's breadth of talents, performance, efficiency and drive make it a popular car.
Designed to effectively replace the ageing Ateca, the Terramar makes a very strong first impression and because it's been engineered alongside the next-generation Audi Q3 (and is even built at the same factory in Hungary) it's got lots of cool tech. Including a fiesty plug-in hybrid powertrain that delivers punchy performance and an all-electric range of around 120km.
In our first drive we focused on the quicker-still 2.0-litre turbo with 195kW and 400Nm. It comes with sports suspension and can be upgraded with adaptive dampers bigger brakes package.
