Sit in a comfortable position.
Tilt your head a little towards your painful side and only if comfortable. Place the arm of the affected side by your side, with your hand on your body and your elbow bent and supported if needed. This should be comfortable. If not, adjust your position to achieve greater comfort. You can support your arm with the other if needed.
Use this position whenever you need pain relief or as your therapist advises.
