To: Bishop Easterling


Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ.


These are difficult days for the church to face, and no doubt they are difficult days for you as a bishop. With that in mind, I greatly appreciate your willingness to hold a town hall meeting to address the confusion regarding our denomination's future.

In that spirit, the video attached contains a request that you address some of the theological concerns that many traditionalists have concerning the state and direction of United Methodist theology. I specifically raise concerns related to one incident with which I am very familiar. (I have also taken the time to explain the reasons why this incident is a matter of concern to anyone who might be unfamiliar with it.)

Hopefully, this will serve to strengthen the Body of Christ. In any case, God bless.
