We set off with only 60km to Neale Junction and make good time. South of Neale Junction the road is excellent and we are sitting on around 90kph which is a welcome break from the track we have been on so far. We stop in at Neale Breakaways for lunch and Mike (driving Mal's V8 Cruiser) and Darius (in the Troopy) make some poor driving decisions and get stuck in sloppy creek mud and then have to be tugged out by Simon's Nissan - Oh the shame and ignominy of it! - Two Toyota's being towed out by a Nissan!
Back on the track we see another Camel on the road and venture further until we find a campsite mostly devoid of trees around 160km North of Rawlinna and settle in around another fire for the night.
