Today I'm building a sheet metal center console for my 1988 Toyota Pickup 4x4. In this episode I create a cardboard template and then make it reality with some sheet metal. I did with basic tools such as a grinder, Dremel, a vise, and the help of a friend who has a welder. Ever since I installed dual cases in this truck, I haven't had room for a center console, and I finally got fed up with the hole in my floor and decided to do something about it. I'm trying to get better at fabrication so this was a good learning experience and I'm excited to upholster it and finish it up!
