Telur Balado
Balado is a type of hot and spice mixture found in Minang cuisine of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Balado sauce is made by stir frying ground red hot chilli pepper with other spices including garlic, shallot, tomato and key lime juice in coconut or palm oil. The ingredients are quite similar to hot chilli paste. Balado is suitable for fried prawns, squid, fish (whole or cutlets), chicken, fried boiled eggs, fried beef, eggplant or potatoes.
Ingredients
Coconut oil- 1-2 tbs
Boiled Quail eggs- 30 numbers
Sweet Red Chilli- 2 numbers
Hot Red chilli- 20 numbers
Tomato sauce- 2 tbs
Salt as required
Sugar- 1/2 -1 tsp
