[I previously uploaded this series in the early days of the channel when it was a lot smaller. Because there are well over 1000 videos on the channel now, some of these older uploads can be overlooked. I'm reuploading them as an ongoing exercise, partly to make improvements to the original files and partly to bring them to the attention of listeners who've joined the channel more recently)]
Around the same time that The Man in Black returned to radio, another horror anthology series hoved into view. The narrator/host of this one was called 'Lovecraft' - consistent with the series title (Weird Tales having been a pulp magazine that published the work of H.P. Lovecraft). While none of the episodes is a direct adaptation of Lovecraft's work, they are notionally inspired by it. Some episodes use ingredients that are very reminiscent of Lovecraft's stories, others not so much. Either way, it's an intriguing and often bizarre (in a good way) collection of macabre tales...
