Mototaxi racing through the villages and forests of Iquitos, Peru is a great way to get the blood pumping. While backpacking in the Amazon jungle town of Iquitos I took a mototaxi to visit one of the biggest trees in the area. There were several of us on the trip, and the journey quickly turned into a mototaxi race through the forest. Mototaxis are the standard mode of transport in Iquitos, and huge throughout Peru and South America in general. I highly recommend you visit the area and see for yourself.
