The executive and police are accusing the judiciary of being a stumbling block in war against impunity and crime in the country. Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i blamed the courts for frustrations attempts by the law enforcement agencies in dealing with criminals accusing judges and magistrates of being lenient to capital offenders such as drug barons and those involved in electoral malpractices.
