This very basic strength training video using dumb bells will teach you how to strengthen your arms, shoulders, and back using hand weights. Those new to exercise, seniors, or those with health issues should perform one set (10-15 repetitions) using a light hand weight. Once you get stronger you can add another set. When you are able to perform the sets easily increase the weight that you are using by a small increment. It is a good idea to have a variety of weights and to generally stay with lighter weights for the shoulder exercises.
