The Environmental Engineering Society of Singapore (EESS) is an independent, non- profit, non-governmental organization. Established in 1978, the society is dedicated to the professional advancement of the science and practice of environmental pollution control. EESS is a WEF Membership Association and hosts the WEF-EESS Conference on Advancement in Water and Wastewater Treatment and Reuse (AWWTR) every two years. In 2018, WEFTEC hosted the first ever Student Design Competition Team from Singapore sponsored by EESS.
