Hon’ble Union Civil Aviation Minister, Sh. Ram Mohan Naidu Ji graced the centenary celebrations of the iconic Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport - Kolkata as the Chief Guest.
Hon’ble MoS for Civil Aviation, Sh. Murlidhar Mohol Ji and Hon’ble MP Saugata Roy Ji were the Guests of Honor on the historic occasion.
Secretary MoCA Vumlunmang Vualnam Ji, AAI Chairman Vipin Kumar Ji along with officials and Kolkata Airport staff also marked their presence.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Mohan Naidu Ji emphasized the role of the aviation sector in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and lauded the Kolkata Airport for its legacy and leadership in setting global benchmarks.
Taking forward his vision of ease of flying and Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi Ji’s vision of affordable travel, Hon'ble Minister inaugurated the UDAN Yatri Cafe which will offer passengers quality food at reasonable prices. With this Kolkata Airport became first in the country to offer cost-effective food to passengers.
