I think anyone who appreciates an old model JDM car, whether its a Toyota, Datsun, Mazda, Mitsubishi, or even an Isuzu.... tends to appreciate the other brands offerings of the time.
I thought I would never have another TA22 Celica again, but I am very excited to have this one in my possession!
I have had a few of these in my lifetime, but never a flat light
(early 1st generation).
An 8 hour round trip (plus loading time and fuel stops) to rescue this example from underneath a Queenslander house (raised, on stilts essentially), where it had been sitting for close to a decade, and parked under a mango tree in a field prior to that.
