Afghanistan's Taliban government is asking Pakistan to give undocumented Afghans in the country more time to leave.
People fleeing the threat of deportation have flooded the border, after Pakistan said all undocumented immigrants would be expelled by November 1. More than 100,000 Afghans have left since the announcement.
Pakistan claims Afghan nationals have been behind militant attacks, smuggling and other crimes. Nearly half of the 4 million Afghans living in Pakistan are undocumented - many having fled violence in Afghanistan.
