Footage taken on day 8 of a 9-day Midland Mainline closure (services still suspended up to Harpenden) with Southeastern’s high speed Javelin trains in service at St Pancras International Station.

Parapet wall installation has completed with deck preparations under way for concreting with the works due to complete on Monday I believe… Underneath the new bridge deck work on the overhead line equipment is under way so that the railway can reopen on Monday.

Just north of the mainline station, Agar Grove bridge had reached end of life and needed to be replaced. Train services north out of St Pancras International station are suspended until 30th December 2024.
