Hello and welcome to this second part of my trip to York showing trains leaving and departing the north end of the station.
The north end of the station has some really good views/vantage points, range of traction with lot's of DMU's and DEMU's on CrossCountry and TransPennine services along with long-distance intercity services by LNER. The north end is where the line to Scarborough diverges so it offers some great views and photos. It was really great to see the Class 91's and 43's before they are completely replaced by the Azuma's, one of which was on test. Overall, York is one of the best stations to spot in the country.
