CNN has banned conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky from the network following a contentious on-air exchange where he told pro-Palestinian panellist Mehdi Hasan: "I hope your beeper doesn't go off", a reference to the Israeli pager attack on Hezbollah.
After the interaction, CNN removed Girdusky from the program and apologised to Hasan and its viewers.
