Food, housing, education, employment… It takes a lot to forge a path of opportunity, to maintain health and safety. As it is, some youth in foster care already experience higher risks of housing instability, addiction, mental health problems, and more. When we advocate on behalf of our youth, we make it that much easier for them to access not only the necessities but the tools for success and happiness.
