I am at Bangor Grammar School for this wonderful exhibition of all things modeling put on by North Down Model Railway Society April 2016.
I've just come across the Bangor Electric Flying Club. All these aircraft are cheap light and very manoeuvrable. Many can be flown indoors too. Most of them are, like everything else, made in China. They are made of a form of foam and are powered by battery.
