The idea of a warm bed, regular showers, and no more soul crushing hikes out of the Gorge were the main motivations for our last day here in New Mexico. We have been grinding so hard this trip but we certainly didn’t let the pace slow. We kept hammering the fish below the bridge and then met up with our new friend above the bridge! Finn is a great guy and was so open to showing some "flat land fools" how its done! That was one of my favorite parts of this entire trip. The fish come and go, the views will always be there, but the fishy folks you meet along the way make it all worth it. Hard to think this is all really over but I hope whoever stumbles across this series enjoys watching it as much as we enjoyed experiencing it.
