Above the mini-map are a set of pings. When you tap a ping, you can issue a signal to your teammates by tapping the ground or a location on the mini-map.

These can be useful for communicating strategy with your allies. For example, you may want to use the question ping to alert your team that you don't know where your opponent in the lane is. The question ping is also useful for asking the team if they should attack an important target, such as the Kraken.
