Hope you enjoy this wee mindful moment film, from lovely Roslin Glen Country Park in Midlothian, here in Scotland. Just a short walk away from the incredible Rosslyn Chapel & Castle, this incredible country park is such a joy to visit. It's home to some ancient woodland and a real haven for all kinds of wildlife, trees, wild flowers & fungi.
The River North Esk runs through this natural glen, which powered one of the biggest Mills in Scotland, a gunpowder mill which manufactured explosives for over 150 years, right up to the Second World War. There was also a large carpet factory here which operated for 100 years until 1968. Today it's a much gentler, cleaner place, reclaimed by nature and a beautiful place to spend a few hours surrounded by beautiful woodland trees and nature.
The old Gunpowder Mill was used as a location in the Outlander Television series One, Episode 9 "The Reckoning", so for Outlander fans it'll be an extra special place to visit!
If you fancy some breakfast, or a spot of lunch after your visit, head for the Rosslyn Chapel Visitor Centre nearby which has an excellent wee cafe with great views over the glen.
