STAY WOKE! Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you are aware Southern California has experienced TWO very STRONG earthquakes that have shaken [QUITE LITERALLY] the area up! My Dad purchased this Earthquake Kit for me several weeks ago while he was here visiting as a joke - but after a 6.4 magnitude earthquake on 4th of July and another magnitude 7.1 the following day, its no longer quite as funny.
