If you deposit liquid cheese onto buns before sprinkling cheese flakes, they will much better adhere to the buns. You don't want the cheese flakes to drop off the buns. If you apply a layer of liquid cheese first, the flakes will stick to the bun. Your product will look better, taste better and it will have the same weight; each time.
