This video is about Murray Cod fishing Lake Mulwala by kayak mostly trolling while the Lake is drained to try to kill off excessive weed growth by exposing it to frosts over winter.When the lake is drained Murray Cod fishing is mostly restricted to the old river course and creeks and billabongs that existed before the lake first filled after the completion of the Yarrawonga Weir in 1939.Murray Cod fishing can be quite unpredictable and exciting and this was the case in this video.
