On Shabbat Shemini (April 9th and 10th, 2021) at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, rituals of installation were held to honor Fairmount Temple's new Cantor Vladimir Lapin. In an act of encouragement and inspired by words of Torah, Cantor Laureate Sarah Sager passed the Torah of this congregation to her successor, Cantor Vladimir Lapin. We encourage all who see this short video and testimony to see the powerful and rich connection of our congregation to sacred music and spiritual leadership.
