(3 Mar 1977) The Arab nations have been speaking of solidarity and cooperation, while the African delegations have been demanding financial assistance for their countries. These are the first indications of how negotiations are going at the Cairo conference of foreign ministers and officials which is preparing for the first Afro-Arab summit in the city next week.
