The 3rd Prelude & Fugue from the first book of the ultra famous Well-Tempered Clavier collection published in 1722, sometimes referred to as the "Old Testament" of music (Beethoven's sonatas being the New Testament), written in the horrendous key of C# major, with a 7-sharp key signature, with some sections of the fugue reaching modulations of 10 sharps (by using 3 double sharps).
Recorded on Werkmeister III temperament, a common choice of historical tuning for baroque music in August 2024.
