Got back out to the BMCT for an overnight backpacking trip. The last time I hiked this route was about 5 years ago, and it was more challenging but just as beautiful as I remembered.
Temps were low but humidity was high. Water is extremely scarce on this trail, with only a few sources available. The most reliable source is near the base of Celo Knob. There are less reliable sources on either side of Deep Gap - one along the Colbert Ridge Trail and one on a forest service road. Luckily we were able to find a trickle of water.
Had a great time!
