In addition, there is an all-round redesigned interior, which increases the quality of life in the Duster with numerous comfort elements from higher vehicle classes, without renouncing the traditional virtues of the model series. These typical qualities of the Dacia Duster include the affordable price, the excellent space and the excellent off-road mobility. The new edition of the popular compact SUV combines the attractive appearance with numerous modifications, such as the automatic air conditioning and the keyless entry and start system Keycard Handsfree. Dacia presents the special series Ultimate at the Geneva Motor Show 2019, which is available for the Duster and as a Stepway also for the Sandero, Logan MCV, Lodgy and Dokker models. The optical characteristics of the Ultimate special series are the exclusive color contrasts and combinations of red on gray (Rouge Fusion and Gris Highland).

In addition, Dacia is presenting the new engine for the Duster in Geneva, the 1.3 liter turbo gasoline engine in the TCe 130 PF and TCe 150 PF power levels, both of which will also be available with a 4x4 drive from this summer. This motorization has the latest Allianz innovations and accordingly meets high standards of reliability and durability.

Cheeky, with a lot of class: the new special series comes with a strong design, red decorative elements in contrast to gray and seat covers with a stylish graphic design!

The special series Ultimate sets a fresh red contrast to the basic color in stylish gray. On the outside, this can be seen on the side lines, the housing of the exterior mirrors and on the door sills. Inside are the fresh accents on the door panels, the edges of the ventilation openings, the seat covers made specifically for this series and the additional carpets at the front and rear. The discreetly placed red brings a fresh warmth into the interior and harmonizes perfectly with the dashboard in the dark carbon color.

The bi-tone wheel covers (16 “) are in two shades of gray (Gris Sparkling Silver / Gris Erbe), with a centrally placed red cover. This creates an aluminum diamond effect. The clever solution combines the aesthetic requirements with simple and economical vehicle maintenance. In the Duster, on the other hand, 17-inch alloy wheels are used.

This transversely used special series offers extremely useful technologies from Dacia. These include the reversing camera and sensors, manual or automatic air conditioning depending on the model, the Dacia chip card with keyless entry system on the Duster and the Media Nav Evolution multimedia system (compatible with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®).

In Europe and in Dacia's 44 main markets, the launch is scheduled for early March 2019.

With 700,798 new vehicles sold worldwide in 2018, Dacia increased its sales figures by 7% compared to the previous year (+7.5% for passenger cars, +1.1% for light commercial vehicles).

In Europe, Dacia set a new sales record in 2018 with the registration of 511,622 new vehicles (+ 10.3% compared to the previous year)! The market share in Europe grew to 2.9% (+ 0.3%).

In the sales of passenger cars to private customers, the Sandero remains the number 1 of all vehicles in Europe. In the compact SUV segment (C-SUV), the new Duster lifted itself to the top of the segment ranking for private customers across Europe in less than a year.
