Meco Monardo is best remembered for his "Star Wars Theme / Cantina Band" single from 1977 which was a disco version of music from the original Star Wars movie. This single from 1983 was a dance version of the "Ewok Celebration" tune from Star Wars: Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi. The original "Ewok Celebration" by John Williams appeared in the original movie but was replaced in the Special Edition and all releases thereafter.
Duke Bootee was featured on the iconic track "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five.

Recorded using a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable with Acryl-It platter, record clamp and AT VM540ML cart. All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 with Adobe Audition CC used for recording and processing with clicks removed manually.
