Another great faceoff play by the USA. Usually we name these and call it out before the faceoff, but sometimes you can know the play as it happens because of the familiarity of where the puck bounces.

In this case the middle ice Winger, gets puck back to the D. The board side winger climbs high in the zone and accepts the pass from the D and tries to hit the middle ice Winger in the HIGH Slot.

This works against Sweden who refuses to learn the Man to Man defense system which nullifies almost all set faceoff plays.
