Khaptad - Khaptad National Park with Khaptad Baba Ashram, Khaptad Lake situated in a junction of four districts of Nepal namely Bajhang, Bajura, Achham and Doti. Entry points to Khaptad is available on all four districts. In this video we entered the Khaptad National Park from Jhigrana Doti side through Silgadhi. The park was covered with snow and was difficult for us to trek but nonetheless we had a great time.
We travelled to Khaptad during peak winter season. Khaptad in Winter - We were the only ones in the whole national park and it was a beautiful experience. Here we share Khaptad National Park in three minutes.
To sum our experience of Khaptad, it was a wonderland, a paradise and an escape from reality.
Khaptad National Park Itinerary
Day 1 : Kathmandu to Attariya, Kailali
Day 2 : Attariya to Silgadhi then take a jeep to Jhingrana (Overnight at a small teahouse)
Day 3 : Jhingrana to Bichpani ( Lunch ) to Khaptad ( Stay at a Cottage )
Day 4 : Explore Khaptad National Park ( Chinte Dhunga, Khaptad Baba Ashram, Tribeni, Khaptad Lake, Buki Daha, Sahasralinga etc.
Day 5 : Back to Jhingrana
Day 6 : Jhingrana to Attariya via night bus.
Day 7 : Attariya to Kathmandu

Day 5 : Khaptad to Bajura
Day 6 / 7 : Night bus to Kathmandu from Bajura
