One day in mid July 2013 I was driving around wondering what to do. I saw the sign for Courtown and thought why not. I was not disappointed and enjoyed my time there. I hope these few snaps I took that day inspire you stop by and visit.
A family friendly seaside resort in Co. Wexford. Courtown has been a holiday destination for over a hundred years.
Courtown, is a village which developed after Lord Courtown ordered the construction of a harbour during the Famine years, 1839–1846. The economic boost of the new harbour led to a small village developing with fishing being the primary economy of the village.
