The Philadelphia Police Department's East Detectives Division is looking to identify the suspect who robbed Ace Check Cashing in Franklinville.
On February 10, 2014, at 9:45 am, the complainant, a 27 year-old-female, was inside of the Ace Check Cashing located at 3509 Germantown Avenue when two unknown males wearing ski masks entered the store through the ceiling. Once inside, both suspect held an employee at gunpoint taking several weekly and monthly SEPTA trans-passes, tokens, and an undetermined amount of money then fled the store on foot and were last seen north on Germantown Avenue then west on Venango Street.
Suspect Description:
Suspect #1: Black male, husky build, 20-30 years-of-age, 5'6", wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black boots, black gloves, black ski mask, and armed with a handgun.
Suspect #2: Black male, husky build, 5'7", wearing a royal blue hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black ski mask, and armed with a handgun.
