iPad 7th gen. has known issue of CPU overheating and floats off the board when playing CPU intense games. When that happens, it won't power on, no charge, bootloop, touch not working, etc. We believe it's happening due to lack of thermal compound on CPU unlike iPhones or other iPad. So while you have working iPad 7th, it would be good idea to put thermal compound or pad to help CPU from getting overheat.
