CSC workshop – Connect and communicate: effective engagement for global development
This workshop aimed to improve Commonwealth Scholars’ ability to connect and communicate with a wide range of audiences, for the purpose of achieving development impact.
Scholars worked in groups to create and present a communications campaign to raise awareness of a topical development issue related to their group discipline theme.
Through the project Scholars:
Considered how to target their message to an audience for maximum impact.
Explored how to select and use communications tools to achieve their campaign objectives.
The group discipline for the above presentation was ‘equality’ for an audience of young people aged 14-25. The Commonwealth Scholars in this group were:
