Spanish police arrest a man from Algeria as he tries to enter Spain perched in the housing of a ferry propeller.
Police video showed the barefoot, shirtless man precariously positioned above the churning water as the ferry arrived in the port of Tarifa.
The boat had arrived from the Moroccan port of Tangiers.
Spain's interior ministry said that the man was Algerian and was detained on suspicion of attempting to enter the country illegally.
They believe he intended to swim to shore once the boat neared the Spanish coast.
Tarifa is a port in southern Spain that is a popular point of entry for illegal migrants.
