Video of the sub Installed in the Twizy : [ Ссылка ]
Calculation/modeling where done on [ Ссылка ] online tool.
Giving a low cut frequency of around 28Hz @-3dB, and a big compromise on event airflow noise.
In layman's term : you'll here the air moving thru the event as soon as you increase the dB level. On the other hand, you get 28Hz @-3dB with a tiny enclosure, so... that was my compromise.
I assumed tire and road noise will cover any vent-airflow noise anyways.
Material was PLA CF which retrospectively was a poor choice.
Given that PLA doesn't not like water, and a twizy is a humid environment.
ABS or ABS CF would have been a much better choice but I did not have enough at the time.
And it required a fairly substancial amount of plastic to print (1 Kg / 2.2 pound).
I used a drilled-out to 1mm nozzle, to keep the printing withing 72h for each half enclosure part.
Measurment done after building the enclosured confirmed the modeling.
I got an actual 30Hz @-3dB, so 2Hz off the projected 28Hz lowcut frequency.
More that good enough to enjoy some jazz bass solo on the road (lowest bass note is 34 or 36Hz if I'm not mistaken).
Speaker is a W 130X Visaton. It's the only one that seemed suited for this kind of enclosure.
