Oh “Ohq” Gyu-min was one of the top rated and most impactful players in the LCK last season. He stood out as a top player in the league, even on a team that saw little success in 2015. Ohq is an aggressive player willing to duel opposing marksman, go for objective steals, and make big plays at any point in the game. He is excited about showcasing his skills in North America this season, and helping TDK win the NACS spring split on their way back to the LCS.
TDK is proud to announce the full roster for our team this season with the additions of Ohq and Bischu. That brings our full official roster to: Ninja, Seraph, Kez, Ohq, and Bischu with do it subbing for Ninja for the Spring Split. We couldn't be more excited about this team, with the overall talent combined with perfect communication during game play. The performances in the scrims and during Bootcamp in Korea show that this team is going to kick serious ass going into the NACS. Below the video is more information on Ohq and Bischu.
Ohq
Oh “Ohq” Gyu-min began his competitive career playing for Virtual Throne Gaming and then Xenics Blast. He arrived to OGN in late 2013 when he joined Xenics Storm. Even though the team performed poorly, Ohq stood out with his remarkable play and received an offer to join NaJin Black Sword as a result.
Ohq joined Black Sword in May 2014, but the OGN rules change that occurred that year forced NaJin to combine Black Sword and White Shield into e-mFire. The team qualified for playoffs in 2015 by placing fifth in the Champions Summer regular season. The team lost to the KOO Tigers in the first round and then lost again in the first round of the 2015 Season korea Regional Finals against Jin Air Green Wings.
Ohq stood out an impactful player on Najin, capable of making big plays and carrying games. He was commonly regarded as one of the top ADCs in the LCK and is known for his aggressive style. Ohq is often compared to Imp stylistically, playing with confidence and a casual demeanor while initiating duels and engages against players with years of experience over him.
For those unfamiliar with the LCK, his style is more akin to WildTurtle or Doublelift than other more support oriented ADCs. He is unafraid of making big plays and has the mechanical skill and game knowledge to more often than not, come out ahead.
Ohq is excited to join Team Dragon Knights and showcase his skills in North America. He is looking to prove himself to a new region of fans, so expect big plays and high impact moves from a competitor with the ability to shape games singlehandedly.
Bischu
Aaron “Bischu” Kim is a veteran of the League of Legends competitive scene, having played for 12 or more teams including Complexity, Cloud9 Tempest, and Team Dragon Knights since his start in June of 2012. He substituted for Ninja on TDK during the period in 2015 he was unable to play because of Visa Issues, but will now be transitioning to the support role for the team.
Bischu was born in South Korea, but moved to Canada at an early age. As a result, he is one of the few players that feels confident in both the North American and Korean scenes. He is known internationally for his Nidalee play and even received offers from SK Telecom T1 and MVP Blue during his time in Korea.
Bischu has been tirelessly training with TDK in Korea to master his new position. His level of synergy with Ohq, both on and off the rift, has made the bottom lane of TDK an immediate threat for other teams in the challenger series. Scrim results have already proven that Bischu and Ohq will be a considerable challenge for opponents in the North American scene.
As another Korean speaker, Bischu is the final piece of an all Korean speaking roster. This will prevent any communication issues and allow the team to function at their peak performance level. With his unique skillset, competitive experience, and positive, ready to learn attitude, Bicshu rounds out the roster of a TDK lineup looking to take the NACS by storm this season.
