Day 5 is here and so is a cold bug. Everyone has been pulling together to get this corn done and thank goodness not everyone was sick at the same time. Alan's Dad was the first to go down sick, but is back and is behind the wheel of the International 1256 chopping with the New Holland 790 Corn Chopper with 822 Corn Head. Alan is running wagons with the Farmall 560 and running the International 1256 on the Kelly Ryan Bagger. We filled the bag, and now we are moving on to the small silo in the cow pasture. We get the Gehl Hi-Throw Silo Blower hooked up and the Van Dale Silo Unloader raised to the top after emptying the silo out. The 830 Case is put to work running the Silo Blower as Corn Silage Harvest 2021 continues. We take a quick break to move some calves while the bagger gets brought back to Johnny, and Jen almost gets attacked by one mad mama hen!
