Khao San Road (Khaosan Road) is a Thai market and walking street and has some very interesting street food options, including fried scorpion (which we try) and crocodile as well as fresh coconuts to quench your thirst.

Bangkok city is known for having great nightlife and this crazy night market is no exception. If you love shopping, eating street food and partying (although probably not all at once) then this is the place to come.

Khao San Road is also one of the centers for alternative culture in Thailand, everyone from ladyboys, to hipster art students come here to let their hair down and enjoy the street party.

If you find yourself in Thailand, we'd highly recommend spending a night here (although maybe stay 5 minutes walk away). It really is one of the best things to do whilst you're here and one of the liveliest streets in Bangkok.
