On March 3, 2022, a Russian Kalibr cruise missile hit a telecommunications tower in Kyiv. It was the 8th day of the full-scale invasion. You can see the moment of this attack on the CBS news footage. At that time, no one knew what path our country would take and what the phrase Ukrainian courage would really mean.

Together with the military unit that escorted us to the place of impact, the NGO “Legion of Protection” collected debris from that missile. We turned it into a symbol of our fight.

And later, this unique work was personally signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Turning an instrument of destruction into aid is the fundamental idea and inspiration for the continuation of this story.
