The Point Thumb is Point Designs' solution for individuals with thumb loss proximal to the MCP joint. It's 3D printed titanium construction allows our thumb prosthesis to have a low weight, starting at 28 grams, and a high strength 150 lb load rating.

Its robust construction allows Point Designs' prosthetic thumb to have an expected service life of 2-3 years. We validate our prosthetic fingers by cycling them at least 250,000 times, which is roughly equivalent to opening and closing each digit over ~30-45 times each hour.
