Period full grained leather binding, raised bands, gilt title lettering, gilt ruled cover decorations, marbled end papers, all edges and turn ins gilt. Fine old custom bookplate to front pastedown.
Binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Some edge scuffing, joints scuffed, rubbing, but leather still supple, book remains sound and attractive.
Interior contents display a pleasing age patina, mostly clean, minor scattered short thin marginal pencil lines (easily erasable if desired). Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive.
Book measures: 8 3/4" H X 5 1/2" W.
