The Bombardier Movia #C951 runs on the Downtown MRT Line and is fully driverless. It is operated by SBS Transit DTL. It is fitted with Bombardier MITRAC traction control system. A subsequent follow-up order known as the #C951A has no comparable differences with the C951.

Rochor and Bukit Panjang (Stage Two) opens on 27 December 2015. Eventually the line will will be extended further East, as it begins to provide a viable alternative to the overcrowded East-West Line.
