The ANC has confirmed that it is looking at bringing NEC Member Gwen Ramokgopa to the office of the Secretary-General in the absence of Deputy Secretary-General, Jessie Duarte, who is on sick leave. Duarte was taking care of the ANC's secretarial duties, following the suspension of Ace Magashule as the Secretary-General. ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says Dr Ramokgopa will come in handy as a coordinator ahead of the 55th National Elective Conference of the ANC in December. He also says Treasurer-General Paul Mashatile will continue to assist in the office of the Secretary-General.
