Innovation is at the heart of who we are. In 2016 we were the first in our sector to adopt AI and Visual analytics as our primary method of intruder detection, today this is now becoming standard practice in the industry.

In 2018, we were the first to develop an award-winning fully featured Solar and wind powered CCTV platform capable of deployment all year-round, anywhere in the UK. In 2020 during the covid pandemic we made modifications to our systems allowing for the detection of elevated body temperatures, helping industry get back to work and making the workplace Safer.

Wireless battery powered units similar to the POD are not a new concept. You may be familiar with similar solutions, commonly known as “Daleks”. Our goal with the Safer POD S1 is to bring the latest technology to this concept and improve upon a lot of the areas perceived as weaknesses in such systems. With the Safer POD S1 we have D4 evidential grade images that can be used for prosecution. The detection range of the Safer POD has been increased to 30m and intelligent false alarm filtering using live spectral analysis and firmware bespoke to the Safer Group, Reduces false alarms by over 90%.

Finally, a next gen solution must consider the impact on the environment. Disposable non-rechargeable batteries are no longer acceptable and the Safer POD S1 comes equipped with Solar Charging and re-chargeable batteries with a life expectancy of over 10 years, reducing the number of visits to replace depleted batteries to zero.

We have gone to great lengths to develop a form factor which communicates a strong visual security presence. The S1s design and visual presence provides a strong deterrence to intrusion and a offers significant improvement in stability over current gen systems. A wider frame with four adjustable legs and lower centre of gravity means that the S1 is a much more robust and tougher target for physical or electronic interference.

The S1 pod’s intelligent modular construction means it’s the only modular security solution of its kind that can be installed by just a single engineer, compliant with manual handling legislation.
