It’s that time again! Time to place your amaryllis into dormancy. Here is my amaryllis growing calendar.
Jan - Feb: Plant blooms on a bright windowsill, water if needed, fertilize
March - May: Remove spent blooms, keep on a bright windowsill, water if needed, fertilize.
May - June: Plant outside. If kept in pots - place outside. Max sun is 4 hours. Fertilize.
August - September: Lift bulbs, place in cool and dry location.
November - December: Clean bulbs, plant in pots. Start watering. Place in warm, bright spot.
